Thanks for stopping by our new "how to" page! We have been thinking of sharing more of our own experiences on
how we went about creating our own gift shop business (for no charge), if we see there is enough interest from our visitors. This is
not quite a blog yet, but that might be an option for later. In our first installment, we'd like to share what we have learned about
similar business opportunities to our gift shop that you can get lots more information about on the internet.
Recently, we have been searching the internet to learn what is available on-line that may be of interest to our site's visitors that
want to learn how they can start an internet based business, similar to our Gift Shop, that they can run from their own home.
Creating your own spa products and making your own gift baskets are just a couple of examples of businesses similar to our own
home based gift shop business that look like they:
- can be fun to do,
- be started in your spare time,
- be run out of a spare room in your home to start,
- have minimal start up costs,
- and have growth potential.

interested in and which work well together as well as individually. Charlie Rutkowski, the site developer and owner of Rutkowski
Gift Shop, was educated as a chemist and feels the information available on creating spa quality bath and body products looks
very easy for anyone who knows how to cook. You do not need to be an experienced chemist like this gift shop's owner to be able
to make your own spa products! If you can follow a recipe in a cookbook as good as Charlie's wife, Andrea, then you should be
able to make your own spa quality products at home. Just following the recipes is enough to start, but if you want to experiment a
bit and be creative, then that's even better!
